Before and After Customer Blog Post
Seeing the before and after photos of a project is always exciting because you get to visualize the vast difference between what was and what is. Before and after photos showcase a span of time, or an effort that has been boiled down into two images. This past spring Paul and Erica Graf had their home exterior painted by Amsberry's Painting. The Graf's had come to us in June 2014 to get an estimate, and chose to wait until spring 2015 to paint. This extra time allowed the Grafs to cement their color selection. The result was a fresh paint job, along with a fun color update!
The Man Behind the Business: Jeff Amsberry
It started with an idea, as all great things do. The idea to create a video about what Amsberry’s Painting is all about. The motivation stemmed from my desire to show people who had never met Jeff Amsberry just who he is, and what he stands for. My thought process went a bit like this: if someone could only get to know Jeff, they would see what a quality man he is. They would see how honestly he runs Amsberry’s Painting, and they may just want to work with him. I have been working with Jeff for over 3½ years, but have known him for much longer. During that time I have come to know him very well. Let me describe to you the kind of man his is.
Why We Start Work at 6:00AM (Hint: It has to do with you!)
There I was at 5:30AM on a Monday morning this past summer, outside with one of our office staff members, Autumn. Autumn was in charge of manning the booth of doughnuts, orange juice, and coffee we had put together. Our purpose was to give our painters an early greeting on their way out of the office at 6:00AM. As you can guess, this surprise was appreciated by all of our painters as they pulled into our office drive and hopped into their painting vans for the day.
How to Choose a Front Door Color
What is your favorite color? You know, the color you go to every single time the choice is given, the color that is on your favorite purse or your favorite tie? I bet that color describes your personality a little bit. My favorite color is orange, it always has been. Probably always will be.
How To Get Paint Out Of Carpet
Carpet and paint have never been friends... ever. When I was in college I worked at an art gallery and learned a trick that later saved me days of worry and clean up. One time, one of the artists left our gallery through the back way and she had a gallon of black paint that she was transporting out. We saw her off and then about a minute later she came running in, terrified, because she spilled the entire gallon of paint all over the carpet.
Eco-Friendly Paint Products
How often do you breath in volatile organic compounds? Do you know what a volatile organic compound (VOC) is? VOCs are gases released as materials age and degrade over time. VOCs can be found in many paints. They are often used in the making of paint to hold components of the paint together. Breathing in VOCs is bad for your health so it is important that you limit your exposure to them.
