EXTERIOR PAINTING PROCESS
When you first contact Amsberry’s Painting you can expect to be treated with care and respect. Our office staff will take down your information and schedule a free in-person estimate with one of our estimators.
During your estimate we go over your unique needs. We discuss your project and any considerations you have. Within a few days we will email you your custom estimate, which includes proposed work, our painting process, pricing, and considerations discussed.
At the point the project is approved, our office team will schedule your job and discuss colors and sheens. We are happy to help you with color and sheen selections, as well as color matching.
Our typical exterior process begins by pressure washing with a light bleach solution to remove dirt, mold and mildew. The next step is the preparation phase, which involves caulking, scraping failing paint, sanding down problem areas and then spot priming. Paint is applied by spraying and back-rolling two coats of top-of-the-line paint. This process has proven to produce durable finishes and is what enables us to offer 10-year warranties on many of our exterior paint jobs. Afterward, we clean up and perform a final walk-through to ensure you are satisfied with your project. If any touch-ups are needed, we take care of those before stamping your project as “completed.”
